Whole You Yoga

Whole You Yoga was created to introduce more people to yoga. I have heard people say they’re not flexible or they have difficulties with balance or they have an old injury or they weigh too much or their schedules don’t allow for the time or they find the idea of going to a class intimidating or that yoga itself is intimidating. It’s not true. Yoga is for everyone.

Muladhara ~ Root Chakra ~ whatever offers you stability, security, and a sense of grounding in your life

Each student is unique in their body, mind, and spirit. As such, proper alignment is more than a template. I work with individuals personally and in small groups so that they may feel more at home on the mat ~ more at home with their sense of self. Rather than guiding a person to fit the pose, I like to modify a pose to fit the person.

My yoga journey and experience with nutritional counseling has brought me to a belief that is the root of Whole You’s philosophy. A person’s state of well-being goes beyond proper nutrition and exercise. It must take into consideration the whole person – physically, emotionally, socially, financially, spiritually, and intellectually. In other words, wellness is ~ the Whole You.
